SISU TV: 11 minutes of video footage from the Danish championship game for U14 men won by SISU 84–82 courtesy of James and Morten Hjertholm from Storyboard Productions:
SISU won the Danish championship 84–82 in the U14 men's division Thursday evening in a hard-fought battle against the BMI Bloodhounds. SISU showed very even scoring, with five players in double digits: Mathias Dons 14, Alexander Shain 12, Thomas Høj Fierro and Philip Nørrevig 11 each, David Leth 10, Rasmus Krebs 9 (including two decisive free throws with less than 30 seconds left), Lukas Speidel 8, Amandus Brückner 7 and Oliver Wellendorf 2. For the BMI Bloodhounds, Marius Kirkholt scored 24, Søren Harbo 19, Mads Damgård 10, Kristian Stig 8, Albert Julin 7, Lasse Thorup 6 and Johs Rungholm, Emil Thomasen, Peter Kofoed and Gustav Toft 2 each.
Eastern Denmark won all eight of the Danish championships, including the finals of the U18 men. Six were played in Solrød, and there were some close games and some very lopsided games. The Virum U16 men, which beat the SISU 1997 men in the finals for eastern Denmark (see below), won a barnburner in overtime against Hjemly 109–108. The BMS U21 men, who beat SISU 58–49 in the final for eastern Denmark, won by 66–51 over Aabyhøj. Finally, Amager, which won 70–69 over SISU, trounced Aabyhøj 68–24. Ouch. So SISU seemed to be number 2 in the country in the last two divisions.
The U16 men: the SISU 1997 men, who beat Værløse 61–58 (story below) in the semifinal, got whupped soundly 83–50 (story below) in the final by Virum's big men, Jacob Glarbjerg and Johannes Leth. One hopes that they are 1996 men and will be gone next year, when the 1997 men are still in the same division as this year.

April 25, 2012 was the day! The SISU Women won the Danish championship for the 18th time in a 69–45 rout of the Hørsholm 79ers before a season-record crowd for the Dameligaen of 565 enthusiastic spectators. Stephanie Madden led the charge with a double-double 14 points and 10 rebounds and Kiki Lund with 18 points. The SISU defense made the difference in the championship game, as Hørsholm did not get much of a chance to get their offense going.
The barn did not burn Wednesday night, but the SISU Women were on fire! They vanquished the Hørsholm 79ers in a display of boundless energy 90–64 and set it up for what could be the Danish championship game on Sunday in Hørsholm at 15:00. The shooting percentages were 56% from 2 points and 57% from 3 points. Stephanie Madden 19 points (9 rebounds), Trine Duelund 18 points (5 rebounds), Kiki Lund (4/5 from 3 points!) and Tea Jørgensen 17 points (6 steals), Iben Soltau 9 points, Julie Kongeskov and Camilla Blands 4 points each and Signe Boye Knudsen 2 points (a buzzer-beater!). Lauren Beckley had 31 points but did not get much help from her teammates. See the news for more (in Danish).
